Severn Trent Final Phase of Works

Good morning,

I wanted to let you know that we'll be completing the final stages of our work to connect the large water pipe in your area and correcting the reinstatement on Welford Road.

So we can keep everyone safe, the team will start making the connections using two way traffic lights next week w/c 15 July close to Knaptoft Hall Farm, this will take a few days to complete, they'll then move over to the junction of Bruntingthorpe Road/Saddington Road w/c 22 July using a lane closure and multiway lights, this section will take up to three weeks to complete. The the final section of our work is on Welford Road, this is to complete the remaining connections and to correct the original reinstatement, to do this section we'll need to close a section of the road at the junction of Leicester Road for up to four weeks, properties within the road closure will always have access and a diversion route will be put in place for all other road users. I appreciate having these final phases of work near to you is frustrating and we thank you for your patience whilst we're carrying out our work.

We're hosting a drop-in session at Shearsby Village Hall, Church Lane, Shearsby, LE17 6PG on Thursday 18 July at 3.00pm until 6.00pm for the local community to come and speak to the project team and to ask any questions.
